About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and creative Event Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of company events, promotional activities, and client-facing initiatives. This role is pivotal in enhancing our brand presence, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring seamless event execution that aligns with Sea Fish Mongers Ltd’s strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing corporate events, trade shows, and internal/external activities, while maintaining excellent attention to detail, budget control, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and manage all company events, including trade shows, exhibitions, product launches, and corporate gatherings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define event objectives, themes, and target audiences.
• Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality delivery.
• Source and liaise with vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure smooth execution.
• Coordinate event logistics, including travel, accommodation, catering, and equipment.
• Oversee marketing, promotion, and communications for events.
• Monitor and report on event performance, ROI, and participant feedback.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements for all events.
• Support the development of new event concepts to enhance company visibility and client engagement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Event Manager or similar role, preferably in the corporate, food, or seafood industry.
• Strong project management, organisational, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Budget management experience.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).
