About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our trading and supply chain team. In this key role, you will manage the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of seafood products to clients. You will play a crucial part in maintaining smooth supply chain operations, liaising with suppliers, transport partners, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily logistics operations, including shipping, deliveries, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with UK customs, DEFRA, and FSA regulations for import/export activities.
• Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and warehouse staff to ensure timely product movement.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery schedules, and logistics documentation.
• Support supply chain planning and optimise routing to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Assist in managing inventory levels and quality control processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination between procurement, trading, and client fulfilment.
• Identify process improvements and implement technology-driven solutions to enhance logistics operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain coordination, or related operations (food or seafood sector preferred).
• Strong organisational, planning, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and UK food compliance regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in digital tools such as ERP, CRM, or logistics management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (preferred).
