Refund & Returns Policy

At Sea Fish Mongers, we take pride in providing high-quality, fresh seafood and ensuring customer satisfaction. This Refund & Returns Policy explains your rights and our procedures regarding returns, replacements, and refunds.


1. Eligibility for Returns

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we can only accept returns or offer refunds in the following situations:

  • The goods are damaged or spoiled upon arrival.

  • The goods are incorrect, missing or not as described.

  • The goods have passed their use-by date on delivery.

We do not accept returns for items simply because you have changed your mind or no longer want the product.

2. Reporting an Issue

  • You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery if there is a problem with your order.

  • Please provide your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs showing the problem (e.g. damaged packaging, spoiled product).

  • Contact us by email at info@seafishmongers.co.uk or call 07856036399 during our business hours (Mon – Sat | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM).

3. Refunds

  • Once your claim is reviewed and approved, we will issue either:

    • A full refund of the affected item(s), or

    • A replacement delivery at no extra cost (subject to availability).

  • Refunds will be processed via your original payment method.

  • Please allow 5–10 working days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

4. Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch only.

  • Once your order has been packed or dispatched, we cannot accept cancellation due to the perishable nature of the products.

  • If you wish to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible by phone or email.

5. Return of Goods

  • In most cases, you will not need to return perishable items.

  • If we do request a return (e.g. for non-perishable or packaged items), we will provide instructions and arrange collection where necessary.

  • Returned items must be in their original packaging and condition.

6. Exclusions

We cannot offer refunds or replacements where:

  • Products have been stored incorrectly (e.g. not kept refrigerated).

  • Products have been consumed or partially used.

  • The claim is made more than 24 hours after delivery.

7. Our Guarantee

We are committed to ensuring every order reaches you in perfect condition. If something goes wrong, we will always do our best to resolve it quickly and fairly.
